LaGrange College seeks to fill an adjunct position in the Bachelor of Business Administration program beginning January 12, 2025, to teach a 3-credit, introductory-level course in Corporate Finance. This course examines the management of existing resources, including the use of financial statements and ratio analysis in assessing the firm’s financial health, its strengths and weaknesses, recent performance and future prospects. Emphasis is placed on the ties between a company’s operating activities and its financial performance. It also examines financial forecasting with emphasis on managing growth, considers the financing of the firm’s operations with a close look at financial leverage, and addresses the use of discounted cash flow techniques to evaluate investing opportunities.

A minimum of a master’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field is required. Professional experience and the ability to teach this course in person are preferred.
