Description
Reporting to the Director of PACE, the Assistant Director will assist in the delivery of academic support services offered through PACE. Responsibilities would include assisting the Director with academic coaching, SI Leader training and observations, Peer Tutor training and supervision, and assisting with outreach and intervention responsibilities. In addition, aiding in the marketing of PACE via social media and other outlets.
Minimum qualifications include:
- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution; a master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years experience in academic advising or support services, student life, residence hall programming, or other relevant experience in higher education,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Proficiency with computer Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn other academic related software products,
- Strong interpersonal skills and/or evidence of collaborative work with faculty colleagues
- Planning and budget management experience
