Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least one (1) year of relevant experience in a higher education environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Jenzebar One (J1), and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. The assistant registrar works with the registrar in the general administration of all undergraduate and graduate records, in all areas necessary to contribute to the efficient and responsive operation of the office. Using effective communication and problem-solving skills, the assistant registrar must be able to interpret policies as related to academic records and deal with information that is sensitive and/or confidential.  Candidates should have an understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of liberal arts institutions.
