LaGrange College seeks to fill a tenure-track teaching appointment in marketing and entrepreneurship at the assistant professor level beginning January 1 or August 1, 2026. Duties include teaching, advising and campus service. The teaching responsibilities include: Principles of Marketing, Social Media and Branding, Advanced Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and some participation in general business classes such as Foundations in Business, Business Communication, etc. The contract is 10 months; the teaching load is 24 credits annually.
A DBA or PhD in marketing or a related field is required, although outstanding ABD candidates will be considered if they can complete the terminal degree by the end of their first year.
The successful candidate will join the Department of Business and Data Science. The department is student-centered and uses an experiential learning model that emphasizes student experience and preparation for the business world. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional development, and institutional service.
