Description

LaGrange College seeks to fill a tenure-track appointment for an assistant or associate professor of manufacturing engineering technology (MET) who will also serve as program coordinator of our new Bachelor of Science in MET.  The start date for the hire is January 1, 2025 (or as soon as possible following that date), and the program officially begins in fall 2025.

A minimum of a master’s degree in MET or related field is required.  Additional industry experience and/or experience teaching is preferred, but not required.  Applicants must show evidence of accomplishments or strong potential for success in teaching, development of new courses related to MET, and service to the institution and to the discipline.

The successful candidate will teach courses through either in-person or hybrid modalities in MET based on their area of expertise, supervise internship students, advise students in the program, and continue to develop our program for success.
