LaGrange College seeks to fill a 1-year lectureship in mathematics beginning August 1, 2025.  A 2-year lectureship may be considered for qualified candidates.

A doctoral degree in mathematics or related field is required, although outstanding ABD candidates will be considered.  Applicants with a master’s degree in mathematics or a related field with substantial teaching or professional field experience will also be considered.   

  

The successful candidate will join the Department of Business and Data Science, offering opportunities to teach a range of undergraduate courses, including mathematics courses in the general curriculum and core courses for mathematics majors. Candidates with expertise in data analytics may be able to teach in our nascent data analytics program. The teaching load is 24 credits annually (typically four 3-credit courses per term) taught in residence on LaGrange’s campus. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional development, and institutional service, as well as an understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of liberal arts institutions.
