LaGrange College seeks to fill an adjunct teaching position in ethics and sustainability in technology in its new manufacturing engineering technology program. The course is expected to be offered in Fall 2026, and the need will be ongoing. The course description and number of credit hours are listed below.
METC 2615 Ethics and Sustainability in Technology - Examines the values and ethics of a technological society and the input of the technologist into the decision-making process of a technological organization. Health and safety, sustainability, professionalism, integrity, diversity and inclusion awareness, quality, continuous improvement. (2 credits)
Preference will be given to those who can teach in person, although applications from remote instructors will be considered. A minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred, although those with significant professional experience will be considered.
