LaGrange College seeks to fill an adjunct teaching position in occupational safety in its new manufacturing engineering technology program.  The introductory-level course is expected to be offered in Fall 2025, and the need will be ongoing.  The course description and number of credit hours are listed below. 

METC 1102 Occupational Safety - Introduction to occupational safety and the health hazards associated with man-machine systems.  Emphasis is on the recognition, evaluation, and control of such hazards. (2 credits)

Preference will be given to those who can teach in person, although applications from remote instructors will be considered.  A minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred, although those with significant professional experience will be considered.
