Description

LaGrange College seeks to fill the position of Digital Resources Librarian, Assistant Professor in the Frank and Laura Lewis Library, beginning immediately.  We are especially looking for ethnic, racial, and gender diverse candidates who may present different levels of experience and perspectives. Candidates should have at minimum Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Library Science, or an American Library Association (ALA) accredited degree program, and experience in an Academic Library.  Knowledge of digital resources, including EBSCO databases, ProQuest databases, Springshare, the Library of Congress Classification System, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. The Digital Resources Librarian is responsible for managing all aspects of the electronic-resources life cycle (researching, acquiring, establishing access, administering, supporting, and evaluating).   Candidates should have an understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of liberal arts institutions.
