LaGrange College seeks to fill a tenure-track appointment in business management at the rank of assistant professor beginning August 1, 2023.

A DBA or Ph.D. in business or a related field is required, although outstanding candidates with an MBA or MS from an accredited institution will be considered.  The successful candidate must have their terminal degree completed prior to the end of their second year in the position.   

The teaching load is four (4) courses per semester, including foundations in business, organizational behavior, management information systems, marketing, and finance, as well as courses that satisfy the college’s general education curriculum, known as Ethos.  Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional development, and institutional service, as well as an understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of liberal arts institutions. 

Through both a solid grounding in theory and engagement in the field (via internships, collaborative undergraduate research, and other opportunities) business students receive a thorough, intensive, and experiential education in the discipline. The ACBSP-accredited program’s engagement in LaGrange College’s undergraduate research program affords students the opportunity to work directly with faculty on research projects that build their professional skills.

About LaGrange College
