LaGrange College seeks to fill an adjunct teaching position in applied machine elements in its new manufacturing engineering technology program.  The course is expected to be offered in Spring 2027, and the need will be ongoing.  The course description and number of credit hours are listed below. 

METC3404 Applied Machine Elements - Static and dynamic properties of materials.  Principles of machine elements calculations, components selection, assembly, and lubrication (3 credits)

Preference will be given to those who can teach in person, although applications from remote instructors will be considered.  A minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred, although those with significant professional experience will be considered.
