Description

LaGrange College seeks to fill a tenure-track teaching appointment in management at the assistant or associate professor level beginning August 1, 2026.


A terminal degree in management, organizational leadership, or related business field is required, although outstanding ABD candidates will be considered. Successful candidates without a terminal degree in hand must complete the terminal degree by the end of their second year.

The successful candidate will join the newly formed Department of Business and Data Science. The department and business program are student-centered and use an experiential learning model that emphasizes student experience and preparation for the business world. The business program offers opportunities to teach a range of courses in the business core curriculum, advanced courses in management, and courses within concentrations appropriate to the successful candidate's expertise. The teaching load is 24 credits annually (typically four 3-credit courses per term). Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional development, and institutional service, as well as an understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of liberal arts institutions.
